Wax Casting

In order to get a wax pattern that can be used for investment casting, we first require a master pattern.  The master pattern can be any physical object made up of metal, wood, plastic or even an RP part.  The first step is to prepare a silicon mould, and afterwards wax is melted and casted in this mould.  Upon cooling, the mould is opened and the wax pattern is extracted.  The wax pattern obtained is ready for investment casting / lost wax casting.
There are no bubbles nor sinks in the wax part, as the wax casting process is carried out under vacuum. We can deliver was patterns of complex geometry and having undercuts. The wax used in our casting process is imported and having good engineering properties.
Examples of Wax Patterns,
An example of the sequence of wax casting process is presented below, keeping a single part into consideration:

Investment Casting
Investment casting (lost wax casting) is utilized when complex detail, undercuts or non-machinable features and accurate parts are required.  Investment castings typically require significant lead time, are best suited for high volume production rates.  The facility is still not yet available with Rapid Solutions, but references (foundry partners) can be provided.  The investment casting process is explained below diagrammatically.
