Rapid Prototyping
The term Rapid Prototyping (RP) refers to a class of manufacturing technologies that can automatically construct physical models from CAD data. Of the many techniques applied in rapid prototyping, Stereo-lithography is presently the most popular. An object is created by using a computer controlled laser to cure photosensitive liquid polymer, layer by layer, creating a finished part literally in hours. As RP is an additive process, it is possible to create objects with complicated internal features with cavities and complex geometries with ease as compared to manufacturing by other means. You can rest assured that your finished prototype will be firm, accurate and highly detailed.

Why Rapid Prototyping?,
For many people, seeing means believing, however reading blueprints can create headaches. Is it the right hand view or an isometric view? Forget those questions and be able to touch your design through our state-of-the-art rapid prototyping (RP) technology facility.
Imagine going to a meeting not only with a drawing of your project, but an actual model of the finished product. Companies are looking for ways to speed up the review, approval and manufacturing of new design ideas while saving time and money. With rapid prototyping, it is possible to see the real product at an early stage in the process of bringing a new product to the market. Engineers and architects who use prototyping are fulfilling this need and getting the job completed in less time and with less expense.

Uses
Parts made via RP are mainly used for the following:
Presentation models / visualization tool to increase effective communication
Design verification
Testing designs for form-fit and performance evaluation
Development of molds, toolings and investment casting patterns

Advantages
The advantage of RP over conventional prototyping methods are:
Reduction in development time and costly mistakes
Design complexity is no problem
Highly accurate and detailed

Colored Prototypes
Apart from translucent prototypes, we will soon be providing multi-colored prototypes, which would be having better mechanical and thermal properties than translucent prototypes of SLA technology.  Made from plastics i.e. polyurethanes and ABS, these prototypes can be used for customized production or small-scale batch production, and have main applications for house-hold items and automobile industry.  Sample of colored prototypes are presented below:
