As per the customer’s requirements, we can provide a solid CAD model or point cloud data. On the basis of engineering drawings / sketches provided by the customer, we have an expert team that can provide a 3D CAD model in ProE. On the other hand, if the customer provides a physical part, with the help of 3D Laser Scanner and Faro Arm, we can provide 3D CAD data that can be used for CNC cutting / machining, simulation, analysis, die making, prototyping, etc.
3D Laser Scanner
Smooth input and output of 3D digital data are essential to increasing work efficiency during the design, manufacturing, and inspection processes. Keeping this into consideration, we have equipped our setup with Konica Minolta’s Vivid 9i Non-Contact 3D digitizer, which provides high-speed and high-accuracy 3D measurements. The 9i excels at shape evaluation, tool and die qualification, and quality inspection during prototype creation and throughout the production processes. The 9i provides an ideal way to capture the shape and dimensional data of design models and prototypes in design drawings for reverse engineering purposes, thus contributing to the early detection of shape problems, providing rapid feedback on design, and consequently accelerating the manufacturing process.
Faro Arm
Our setup is equipped with the Platinum Faro Arm portable CMM (coordinating measuring machine), the world’s most accurate and advanced portable CMM in manufacturing history, courtesy of FARO Technologies. This new portable CMM is a great blend of accuracy, reliability and ease of use. The Platinum Faro Arm’s .0005" accuracy renders traditional Cams, hand tools and other portable Cams obsolete. Anyone, anywhere can now inspect, reverse engineer or perform CAD-to-Part-analysis on parts, fixtures and assemblies with previously unheard of precision.
